Welcome to a week of live music, culture and tributes to the Polar Music Prize Laureates!

On Sunday, June 11, the Polar Music Prize and partners launch the Polar Music Week in several venues in the heart of Stockholm. Experience the Polar Music Prize throughout the week at our many concerts and events, all presenting amazing live music and tributes to the Laureates. The Grande Finale will be at Konserthuset Stockholm on June 15 when this year’s Laureates Wayne Shorter and Sting will receive the Polar Music Prize at the prize ceremony, followed by a banquet at Grand Hôtel.

June 12: Lisa Backman (vocals) & Erik Jörlenstam (guitar): a duo from Musikhögskolan Ingesund paying tribute to the Polar Music Prize Laureates through the years.
June 13: Wermland Jazz Quartet from Musikhögskolan Ingesund, a jazz tribute to all Polar Music Prize Laureates.
June 14: Martina and the IngeStingers from Musikhögskolan Ingesund performing their specially created arrangements of the music of Sting and Wayne Shorter.
June 15: IngeSounds Orchestra – Warmlanders in the capital from Musikhögskolan Ingesund, a swinging tribute to our Laureates.
